A cute dog that died after living for 16 years was accorded a beautiful funeral by its owner, who did not spare any expense to show how much he loved his faithful companion.

Auitton leaves behind heartbroken family

According to @delanahalo, who shared the video on Instagram, the funeral was a beautiful send-off for a pet, a service that often gets overlooked.

"Always remember, your pets are a part of your family!" he said.

Apart from Alex, Auitton sadly left behind a heartbroken father, Alex Holmes, grandma Debra, auntie Yawnie, cousin Princeton and many loving family friends.

"Auitton was a bright light in our lives, always greeting us with a wagging tail and puppy kisses. She loved playing fetch, going on walks, and snuggling on the couch. Auitton brought immense joy and laughter into our home as co-owner of Flowerboy Productions," said Alex.
"She was a sweet, affectionate companion who will be deeply missed. Her loving spirit touched our hearts, and her memory will remain in our hearts forever," he added.

The family held the service for the cute dog and a pastor also spoke and comforted them. Dog lovers also attended the ceremony with their dogs and mounted the cute, departed animal.

Donations to be made to animal shelters

The family asked mourners not to share flowers and funerals but to make donations to local animal shelters.

"We sincerely thank everyone for the outpouring of support during this difficult time - the phone calls, texts, emails, and kind words have meant more than you know," said the loving dog owner.
"Special thanks to the caring team at Veterinary Emergency Group and Deceased Pet Care Inc., who provided compassionate care. My puppy has crossed the rainbow bridge but will never be forgotten," said Alex.

Pastor organises obituary for beloved dog

In another story, a grieving pastor arranged a proper memorial ceremony for his beloved dead dog and even had him published in the obituaries.

The pastor then shared how things went down on Facebook, warming the hearts of people online with how much he loved his dog, Dexter.

Followers on social media shared condolence messages, while some offered to pray for him to find peace even as he mourns his dog.
