Babu Owino Says Anyone Who Leaves University Without Graduating Is Form 4 Drop Out

Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has chided Kenyans who fail to graduate from the university, referring to them as Form Four dropouts.

Why Babu wants comrades to marry each other

The vibrant politician, who was a student leader, addressed students and talked about the importance of finishing their campus education.

"Irrespective of which year you are, if you are doing medicine and you cannot do your sixth year, Form Four drop out. If you are doing engineering and you are in your fifth year and you do not graduate, Form Four dropout. If you do actuarial science or economics and you reach and you fail to graduate, you are a Form For dropout. Ensure that the most important thing you do is a degree certificate," he said.

Babu also urged students to prioritise getting married, encouraging them to gravitate towards it even if they fail to find their spouses at the university.

According to him, he learned at university that one should leave their institution with a degree and a marriage certificate.

"Because if you are a comrade, then you will just want to have another comrade. It does not matter if you do not get that comrade during your graduation; you will gravitate towards that comrade," he added.

Kenyans praise Babu as he sits for exams

In April, the politician shared a photo of himself in class and noted that he was sitting for exams for his third master's degree.

In a Facebook post seen by Tuko.co.ke, Babu said he was confident that he excelled in his first exam paper.

By the same token, he asked his followers for support and encouragement as he sat for the remaining exams.
