Ann Mwangangi, a mortician with a huge TikTok following, has responded to questions about her work.

What do Kenyan morticians do?

The beauty went live with a Kenyan influencer, Hannah Benta, who fielded several questions about being a mortician.

“You told me that sometimes you can find a body that has stayed unpreserved for a month," Benta asked Ann, who responded in the affirmative.

Benta then asked how Ann handled bodies retrieved from the water.

“We are taught how to handle cases in terms of decomposition because they are different types.”

Ann said she had experienced cases where the head and body separated because of decay.

"I usually sew them back together," she said as Benta gasped in shock.

Benta then asked about an oscillator, a tool used by morticians.

"It is used to open the skull for a post-mortem procedure," a calm Ann said.

Benta then wondered whether Ann eats after witnessing such gorry scenes, and she laughed in amusement.

Here is what Kenyans said about the clip:

Linet Nyongesa:

“Good job. Keep it up.”

Miriam Mwelu:

“Mortuary is not for the fade-hearted. The room is so cold, and there is a strong smell from those chemicals. Most people who have met working there abuse substances.”

Grace Kamau:

“Ann is cuter when she smiles.”

Bree Bre:

“Weeuh! I want to meet this girl to overcome my fear.”

Linda Khasoa:

“I would never sleep if I did her job.”

Srn Chege:

“To be honest, I would never be friends with Ann.”

Did Ann Mwangangi dress Brian Chira?

In other news, Ann working as a mortician at Pope Benedict Funeral Home in Nyahururu prepared Brian Chira's body for burial.

After dressing Chira, Ann started a TikTok livestream and assured fans he looked smart.

Baba Talisha praised her via his TikTok account, noting she was the best fit for the job.
