A video making rounds on social media captured the moment a boda boda rider almost broke down in tears after being gifted over KSh 5,000.

What made boda rider emotional?

The disbelieving rider was taken aback by the kind gesture from the content creator, who said the philanthropy was a form of social test.

The rider, at first, mulls if the cash was a ploy to rob him of his motorcycle. He also expresses doubt that the money is genuine.

When convinced that the donation was legitimate, he almost sheds tears and keeps wondering how the content creator had money to dish out.

"All this is for just that distance?" the rider wondered when handed the first KSh 1,000 note.
"Relax, here is another KSh 1,000," the content creator responded.

The rider moved back thinking the man wanted to steal his bike.

Upon which he indicates that he wants to take off. His motorcycle, however, won't start.

He is urged to hang on a bit and after a back and forth, he pockets the KSh 5,000 and gleefully responds.

"My God, thank you. I was headed in that direction but I am now all confused."

Reacting to the clip, netizens appreciated the content creator's kind gesture and advised the rider to spend the cash well.

Just Larry:

"The best thing I've seen today, my day is made wallahi."

Enock Bett:

"This is my uncle. I once gave him 900Ksh, and he went missing for two weeks With 5k, now, I'm afraid we won't see him again."

Hellspawn:

"5k only? Poverty is bad.”

Izzoh Ph:

"Kanairo misleads people into thinking Kenyans have money.”

Kijana ya Roysambu:

“Today people in the local entertainment joint will sing his name.”

How did kind man surprise granny?

In 2023, content creator Isaiah Garza warmed hearts after donating KSh 70,000 to 75-year-old grandmother Shereta.

Shereta had been shopping at a supermarket when he met Garza.

Garza pretended that he was desperate and looking for KSh 1, 400 to buy a present for his daughter.

A video showed Shereta giving him the cash without a second thought.

Touched by her generosity, Garza reveals who he is and returns the favour by gifting her KSh 70,000.
