"I promised not to leave the boy child behind in this very important climate fight journey. Also crowned Isaac as our boy child environmental ambassador. I donated potting bags and pledged KSh 5000 for Tabitha to establish her own tree nursery. I will support her to make the nursery bigger with time," added Karen.
"The two champions will start a long journey of mentoring other champions in the remaining 44 counties. Real exposure," Mwalimu Dnaiel Mutai of Bomet county told TUKO.co.ke.

Tabitha joins posh school

In another story, Tabitha finally joined Zasa Academy, where she was given a scholarship up to Grade Nine.

The young girl stood out during the tree planting day declared by President William Ruto after floods killed many people.

Tabitha is the child of a single mum who left the little girl and her brother with their grandmother as she hustled in Narok.

The five-year-old was recognised as a hero of her generation. Sadly, her family does not have land on which to continue planting trees.

After getting her into a posh school, the community wants to look for ways to buy land and a decent house for the girl and her grandparents.
