Brian Chira's Granny Claims Baba T, His Alleged Lover Have Her PINs: "Nikute Wametoa Pesa Kwa Bank"

Baba Talisha has been forced to respond after Brian Chira's grandmother took to TikTok to allege that he misappropriated KSh 8 million contributed towards her grandson's burial.

What did Brian Chira's grandma say about Baba Talisha?

Drama started when TikToker Obidan went live and called Chira's grandmother to clarify rumours surrounding her grandson's cash that was raised for his funeral.

The elderly grandmother accused Baba Talisha and his alleged wife, Brenda Wanjiku, of controlling everything.

She claimed her phone was taken away by Wanjiku and returned to her a few days after Chira's burial.

"Ni kama nilikuwa nimefungwa macho. Hata simu nilinyang'anywa.Watu walikuwa wananipigia simu wanitumie kakitu hawanipati wanaona ni kama madharau (It felt like I was blindfolded. Even my phone was taken away. People were calling me to send me something, but they couldn't reach me; it seemed like I was disrespecting them," she said.

She added:

"Wanjiku is the one who was withdrawing money."

The granny admitted to having bought a house worth KSh 3.5 million.

"Nilikuwa nimebakisha balance ya KSh 1 million na nilikuwa nipeleke Friday but nikagonjeka. Wanjiku ndiye alikuwa akiwithdraw pesa. Alinitusi (I had a balance of KSh 1 million remaining to send on Friday, but I fell ill. Wanjiku was the one withdrawing the money, and she insulted me," she shared.

She accused Baba T's alleged wife of threatening to freeze the cash, claiming it was public money. She said she had rent arrears of KSh 140,000, which Baba T paid.

"Aliniambia anaweza toa. Mumwambie nikipata hakuna pesa kwa bank account, uwaambie watatoa juu ni hao wanajua PIN zangu zote za M-Pesa na bank (She told me she can withdraw. Tell them if I don't get money in the bank account, they will give me because they know all my M-Pesa and bank PINs)," she added.

Chira's grandmother said after buying a house, Baba Talisha brought a team to renovate the house, and their quotation was higher than the house's buying price.

"Waliitisha KSh 5 million na mimi nikakataa. TikTok msiseme mlinipatia KSh 8 million. mlichanga pesa na ikaenda kwa madeni (They demanded KSh 5 million and I refused. Don't say you gave me KSh 8 million, the money you raised went to debts)," she said.

She claimed Baba Talisha and his team had stopped talking to her after Obidan visited her home.

"Walienda kununulia watoto nguo za bei rahisi pale Eastleigh. Hapo ndio pesa zilipotelea. Nikaona mimi nivae nguo ya KSh 20,000 na wavae nguo za shillingi kumi (They went to buy cheap clothes for my children in Eastleigh, that's where the money was squandered. I thought to myself, why should I wear a KSh 20,000 outfit while my children wear cheap clothes)?" she posed.

The father of one shared went live to clear the air after, denying all the allegations levelled against him.

"Let them go print bank and M-Pesa statements and share them publicly. Yaani hata shosho anasema KSh 40,000 nilipewa nilienda nazo (Even grandmother says I was given KSh 40,000 and I went with it)! Oh my goodness," said Baba T.

He added:

"I owe Chira's grandfather an apology. Whatever she has done to me, I don't think I'll ever do charity on social media again," the emotional TikToker said.

Baba Talisha visits wife's grave

Earlier this week, Baba Talisha left fans touched after sharing a video cleaning his wife's grave in the village.

The photographer's wife, Milka, died in a tragic road accident along the Thika Superhighway in August 2020, leaving behind a toddler.

In the video, Baba Talisha used a fork to remove the weeds around his wife's grave before using water to clean it.
