The family also revealed the preparations the CDF had for the weekend, and that was to spend time with his family.
First of all, the general was scheduled to celebrate his father's 100th birthday with his family on Saturday, August 20.
A man @Nyankabari had previously tweeted:
"Ogolla, after completing whatever he was to complete for the bandit country, was to head to the countryside to celebrate his father's 100th birthday. An old and frail father has been served the most painful heartbreak no parent can wish for another, on his birthday."
His daughter, Lorna Ogolla, penned a moving tribute that pulled many to their heartstrings as she described her father as a pursuer of excellence.
She said that one day, she would narrate the beautiful stories of how his father taught "with his actions and not with his words".
The young lady shared a throwback photo of his father in the company of the current president of Kenya, William Samoei Ruto.
