His lifeless body was transported to the mortuary at Homa Bay County Referral Hospital.

Meanwhile, his wife is undergoing treatment at the same facility, slowly mending from the physical and emotional scars inflicted upon her by the ruthless attackers.

Why did armed robbers attack Jacob Osore?

Chief Benard Ouma of Lambwe East confirmed the harrowing incident, disclosing that the robbers were after money obtained from a recent fundraiser.

This fundraiser was intended to aid the deceased in purchasing a new motorbike after his previous one was stolen in a separate robbery.

3 suspects linked to Osore's murder lynched

A relative of Osore, who wished to remain anonymous, informed TUKO.co.ke that her sister-in-law had given birth three weeks before being sexually assaulted by the attackers.

Enraged boda riders reportedly killed the suspects in Mbita, who were angered by Osore's murder and a subsequent robbery that resulted in his death.

"The woman was still weak since she had just given birth. When his colleagues heard about my cousin's death, they immediately began the search armed with crude weapons," she disclosed.

The boda riders promptly initiated a search for the attackers and eliminated them in three separate locations within their village in Mbita, Rodi Kopany, and Homa Bay town.

3 phone snatchers killed in Nairobi

In another story, three phone snatchers were shot dead by police officers in Makadara constituency, Nairobi county.

According to the law enforcement officers, the deceased were caught in the act of robbing pedestrians on their way to work at the Industrial area.

The officers revealed that they beefed up security in the region after several reports were made about the notorious shooting victims.
