Video of man allegedly swept by Nairobi floods goes viral

A month ago, a video surfaced online, capturing the aftermath of torrential rains in Nairobi that nearly claimed a man's life.

The video depicted the man gasping for air after floodwaters carried him away.

Visible debris on his clothing indicated the ordeal he endured through the deluge.

His disoriented state was evident as onlookers expressed their concern with empathetic glances.

The video was shared by a social media user, who noted the man’s incredible journey from South C to the vicinity of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

X user @Stellar_Kamau questioned whether the rains were the work of artificial intelligence, given the unusual trajectory of the man's unintended journey.
