In a country where humour often intertwines with daily life, a Kenyan man has brought smiles to many.
This was after he shared a humorous take on how he uses Safaricom's mobile money service, M-Pesa, to navigate a quirky challenge involving village witches.
Fanuel Kataka Amanya recently took to social media to express his gratitude to Safaricom, the telecom giant behind the popular M-Pesa service. In his light-hearted post, Amanya wrote:

"Safaricom has been of great help to me, I never give cash to witches in my village, ndio wasiniroge, I send through M-Pesa ndio waroge nyinyi(I send them money via M-Pesa so that they don't bewitch me). Thanks, Safaricom."
The post quickly garnered attention for its witty and humorous juxtaposition of traditional beliefs in witchcraft and modern technology.
Many Kenyans found it amusing and relatable, reflecting on how mobile money services have integrated into everyday life, even in the most unexpected ways.
Safaricom, known for its engaging and often humorous social media presence, did not miss the opportunity to respond.
The company replied to Amanya's post with equal humour, stating:
"Hujambo Fanuel, Sasa mbona unataka kuturoga? Tumekukosea nini? Ni limit ya Fuliza iko zero? Acha uchawi."
The playful exchange between Amanya and Safaricom has since gone viral, with many social media users praising the telecom company for its witty response.
In a separate incident, Safaricom responded to a Kenyan customer who questioned why she does not qualify for Fuliza yet makes big transactions.
In a comment on Facebook, a woman identified as Chepngetich Beato wondered why she could not access Fuliza when she frequently uses the M-Pesa service.
"Hi Safaricom PLC, why don't I qualify for Fuliza yet I do bigger transactions?" Chepngetich posed.
In its response, the giant telecommunications company promised to resolve the issue.
