Kenyan Students Light Flame, Surprise Chinese Teacher With Flowers In Class: "Kiberiti Imetoka?"

• They handed a flower to her, but many Kenyans questioned the legality of students having matches in school

A video of a Kenyan high school student surprising his teacher, Miyang Zhao, with a rose has delighted netizens.

How did students surprise Chinese teacher?

In a viral TikTok clip, the boy played an adorable magic trick on Zhao by misdirecting her to blow an incense stick.

The recording begins by showing two boys lighting the stick by their desks. One then rises and walks to the row where Zhao is assisting another student.

He then asks her to blow the flame out. As Zhao blows it out, the boy cleverly showcases a sleight of hand by magically producing a red rose.

He then hands it to the seemingly shocked but delighted teacher, who, in turn, showcases it to the class.

Zhao tutors Chinese at the school.

However, many social media users reacted to the clip and expressed shock that the students had matchboxes in school.

On Valentine's Day 2024, Form Three students at a school in Trans Nzoia County warmed hearts after they surprised their teacher.

A clip showed the moment the students treated the beloved teacher, Bilha, to the Valentine's Day surprise during her morning break at the Kitale-based school.

According to the teacher, the goodies included flowers, lollipops, a letter, cash and other goodies.
