Kericho MCA Marries Second Wife In Colourful Ceremony, Says 1st Wife Helped Choose Her

Kunyak ward in Kericho county has taken the spotlight with pomp and glamour after the area member of the county assembly married a beautiful second wife in a big ceremony.

Tracy Bitok works as Kipsende's secretary

Simon Kipsenende Koskei, who was smartly dressed in a dark blue pair of trousers, a white shirt with blue detail and a brown hat, looked happy during the highly anticipated occasion.

He was flanked by his groomsmen, who were also dressed in the same colours and helped to welcome the new bride home.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, a resident identified as Oriop Kipsil shared that the second wife, identified as Tracy Bitok, was Kipsenende's secretary, and the two fell in love and decided to get married.

"In a rare occurrence, the first wife identified as Mercy Koskei, participated in choosing the second wife and welcoming her at home," said Oriop.

They were seen dancing together at the ceremony as Kipsenende and his first wife welcomed Bitok into the family.

The two women both wore dark blue dresses, and they were all adorned with flowers popularly used during such occasions.

Kenyan polygamous man introduces second wife

In another story, a video doing rounds on social media captured a man introducing his second wife to the first in a public ceremony.

At the public gathering, the man was seen giving instructions to the duo while asking them to love each other as well as love him.

He also praised them for accepting to get into the arrangement without fighting each other viciously as many other women would do.

In the video, the women could be seen listening quietly to their husband's sentiments, their eyes darting away from each other in what was evidently a tense atmosphere for them.
