Joseph Juma, a relative of Mwanza, said the family was yet to find his body after the tragedy that happened earlier in the week.
Juma lamented that Mwanza's mother would struggle with his son's passing, pointing out that he was the breadwinner in the family since she was unemployed.
"We've lost one of our own to the waters on the way to work, and now we're searching but can't find him. So, we're feeling a lot of pain, and we need help. He was the one his mother relied on for the work he was doing. Now, his mother is left all alone," he said.
Sabina Katiwa Juma's sentiments, adding that Mwanza was soft-spoken and a pillar of the family.
The grieving family have stated that they are not giving up on finding his body after the tragedy.
Juma appealed to both national and county governments to intervene and help them find their kin's body.
