Manzi Wa Kibera Says She’ll Get Tattoo To Remember Mzee Lover For Helping Her Trend

Manzi wa Kibera, real name Sherrifa Wambo, was in Mombasa when she received news that her elderly boyfriend, Mzee Samuel Nzioki Ndunda, had died.

The two last spoke during the Easter holiday as Wambo prepared to leave the city for a shoot out of town.

Mzee's death shattered Wambo

As it would turn out, that was the last they spoke as the next time she saw the 67-year-old, he was lying cold in the morgue.

A teary Wambo broke down after viewing the body and reminisced on the last days leading to Mzee Nzioki's death.

"My uncle called and informed me that he had seen him basking in the sun, and he looked fragile," she recalled, in a video by ITV 6.

Wambo added that she sent money to her uncle and directed that the man be taken to the hospital, promising to add more after getting paid.

Wambo had nightmare before Mzee died

According to the content creator, she had a nightmare the night before the old man died.

She added that she knew something was wrong when she tried taking time alone at the beach but she didn't enjoy it as before.

Wambo praised the deceased man for helping her trend, a move that made many of those who didn't know her do.

"Nilipata 1.5m likes kwa video yangu ya kwanza because of Mzae. Hizo nguo zake nitamzika nayo nitabaki na moja," she said.

The socialite also revealed disturbing details: that the elderly man had started drinking heavily during his twilight days.

"Alikua anakunywa pombe vibaya sana, nitachora tatoo yake ndio nimkumbuke (He had started drinking heavily. I will get a tattoo of him to keep his memories alive)," she said emotionally.
