Renowned radio presenter Melody Sinzore has opened up about a deeply personal revelation: her self-baptism as “Esther.”
She told TUKO.co.ke that the name holds significant biblical symbolism, and Melody believes it reflects her purpose on Earth.

She disclosed that she was not given any biblical name at birth, but as she grew older, she felt a calling and sense of purpose that led her to choose ‘Esther.’
As described in the Bible, Esther was a remarkable woman, a personality with which Melody drew parallels between her own life and Esther’s story.
“She was naturally beautiful and didn’t need cosmetics or adornments to shine. Similarly, I believe that true beauty lies within and radiates outward,” Melody emphasised.
Esther's courage drives Melody
She added that Esther's destiny was intertwined with the fate of her people, which is why she risked her life to save the Jews from destruction.
"That kind of purpose-driven courage resonates with me,” she continued.
According to the radio personality, Esther stepped into her role as queen not for personal glory but to bring hope and salvation.
