He passed away at his house, where he had been alone after a brief illness.
Chali wa Kibera, the manager of Manzi wa Kibera, posted a video on Instagram to update fans on the private funeral ceremony.
He also revealed that Sonko had contributed KSh 12,000 towards Nzuki's family.
Chali said the bereaved family had financial problems and thanked Sonko for his support.
"Thank you so much to honourable Mike Sonko for supporting Mzee Nzuki's family. He sent money to the pay bill number, and the family received it and channellled it to his burial expenses. The family of Mzee had financial problems," Chali said as he shared a screenshot showing Sonko's contribution on the video.
According to Chali wa Kibera, the family opted to keep the funeral private and consequently did not extend an invitation to the press.
Both Chali and Manzi wa Kibera were absent from the service, as they were not notified by Nzioki’s family.
As we previously told you, the couple parted ways in May 2023, over cheating allegations.
The socialite accused Nzuki of cheating on her with several women, and she wasn't ready to take him back, while Nzuki claimed Manzi wa Kibera milked him dry and dumped him.
