A woman in Baringo county has been thrown into mourning after losing four of her family members in a boat tragedy that killed seven people in Lake Baringo on Sunday April 21.
The boat was reported to be ferrying 23 young members of a Revival Church before it capsized in Lake Baringo.
According to a report done by Citizen TV, the woman by the name Jane Lekikenyi lost her three daughters Ruth, Martha and Abigael and her brother Dennis to the incident.

" My children told me that once they are done studying, they would take me to another level, where I won't have to suffer. I depended on my children, no one else. Now that they are gone I pray that God helps me," Lekikenyi said.
Lekikenyi further appealed to the government for financial help to help with the burial arrangement.
Baringo Police Commander Julius Kerago explained that the boat was overloaded and unable to withstand the powerful tides, resulting in the loss of one passenger's life.
The vessel, en route from the Salabani sub-location to Kokwo Island for a church service, was overwhelmed by strong winds.
Baringo deputy governor Felix Maiyo visited the area and urged boat users to exercise caution.
Investigations revealed that an abandoned fishing net had become tangled in the boat's propeller, leading to the tragedy.
Maiyo also disclosed that the waters were unclear coupled with the strong waves which the boat could not overcome.
The search for the missing teenagers, now in its third day, involves a multi-agency effort including the Coast Guard Marine, Red Cross Kenya, and local divers.
Despite their exhaustive efforts, there has been no success in locating the missing children.
