Dr Willis Ageng’a Mutsune is the toast of social media after he came to the aid of a mkokoteni pusher who had collapsed on the road.

As luck would have it, the young Kenyan doctor was stuck in traffic when the incident occurred.

Mkokoteni man collapsed by the roadside

Noticing that the porter was in trouble, Dr Mutsune quickly responded to the scene, a decision that made all the difference for the desperate man.

A photo shared on social media by entrepreneur Beldina Kirito J captured the heartwarming display of compassion.

"Humanity still exists. A guy pulling mkokoteni collapsed on the road, and this doctor who was in traffic was quick to help him," she captioned it.

She emphasized that such acts of kindness should not go unrewarded, highlighting the importance of recognizing and appreciating selflessness.

Reached for comment, the doctor at Quiver Medical Center told TUKO.co.ke he was humbled that he saved a soul.

"I'm glad I could make a difference. It could have been fatal because he is a known epileptic and hadn't taken his meds for a while," he said.

Kimende man recalls how phone call saved his life

Elsewhere, a Kimende man narrated how he narrowly survived after a landslide covered his friends as he witnessed it happen.

The man said he was with five other friends, and they were all walking home when he took a step back to receive a call.

One of the friends also stayed back to wait for him, but as soon as he started talking on the phone, the landslide came down and buried his friends, sparing his life.
