Abigael and Alban Shayo met their tragic deaths through a school van accident, bringing an end to their dreams and aspirations.

A video by Ayo TV captured the heartbroken parents, surrounded by family, friends, and neighbours, laying their son and daughter to rest.

In the solemn ceremony tinged with unspeakable grief, the community gathered to bid farewell to the two young souls.

The children, whose laughter once filled their home, were remembered for their bright smiles and boundless energy.

What is now left in their memory are fresh graves with crosses, a forever reminder of the unexplainable loss.

Abigael and Alban died when the van belonging to Ghat Memorial School was swept away by floods in Arusha.

"This tragedy has shaken each of us to the core because the community lost a total of eight students in the accident," one mourner said.

The residents hope that the deaths, though painful, will be a catalyst for change to ensure safer journeys for every child heading to school.
