A man who had set out to pay KSh 70,000 fees is now in a tight position after he sent the money to the wrong number and the recipient kept it for herself.
The devastated man's plight was shared on Facebook, revealing he sent the money to a number registered under Jacinta Kyalo.
"Upon initiating a reversal, only KSh 1,105 was recovered from the whole amount, which was intended to be used for school fees. This has resulted in the person being unable to access classes due to gate restrictions," said blogger Cyprian Nyakundi.

The complainant shared transaction receipts and is seeking help to expose the person who received the money, even attaching an OB number.
When TUKO.co.ke tried calling the number, Truecaller revealed that it was registered under the name Jacinta Kyalo, and it had been switched off.

According to Irene, she sent her boss to the bank, and the money was supposed to be sent to her sister's bank account, but the teller sent it via M-Pesa.
When she reported the matter to Safaricom, she was told to report the case at the police station; she later took a flight to make the report at Kasarani Police Station.
