TikToker Jelly Babie is wallowing in regret after a blonde moment cost her followers and a brand ambassadorial deal.
The Barcadi singer and dancer found herself on the wrong side of her fans after she posted a video of herself arguing with a cashier at the supermarket.
IOL reports that Jelly hoped her 600,000 followers would support her efforts to bring down the cashier, but that didn't happen.

The reason behind things going south is that Jelly was overheard telling the lady that she was nothing.
As soon as the viral video, which has since been deleted from her account, was posted, fans started unfollowing her.
Within three days, Jelly's TikTok page had only 100k followers, and many scolded her for the dumb move.
To make matters worse, she also lost her brand ambassadorial deal with P Squared Beauty Parlour.
“In light of recent events involving Jelly Babie, we have made the decision to end our partnership with her, as her behaviour does not align with our values, ” read part of the statement.
P Squared Beauty Parlour underpinned that the salon is women-owned and women-empowered, and they take pride in promoting kindness, respect, and dignity for all.
The supermarket manager where the incident occurred also released a statement expressing support for their employee should she wish to sue Jelly.
“We acknowledge that the staff member’s rights and privacy have been violated, and we will be guiding her appropriately in line with the Popia (Protection of Personal Information Act), as she was filmed without consent."
Jelly has become a laughing stock because she dropped out of school to focus on her music career.
Fans reminded her that no matter how successful or rich one becomes, one should always remain humble.
Elsewhere, popular Kenyan TikToker Baba Talisha was heartbroken when his account was suspended days after hitting 1 million followers.
In an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.ke, the father of one revealed that he had tried to appeal the ban, but TikTok maintains that he violated their guidelines.
Netizens empathised with the content creator for losing his account, with many vowing to support him once he bounces back.
