Over a decade ago, a story of love, commitment, and family unfolded in the vibrant heart of Nairobi.
It is a tale that started with a chance encounter in 2007, where Kevin met Liz, a dedicated mother and student at the University of Nairobi.
According to Dr K N Jacob, Liz was navigating education challenges while raising two boys singlehandedly.

The narrative took an unexpected turn when Liz playfully announced a false wedding on her Facebook page.
"I pranked my online friends that I would get married the following year on my birthday," Liz told TUKO.co.ke.
According to the lovebirds, the announcement sent Kevin into a whirlwind of emotions, unaware that the prank would become pivotal for them.
Realizing the preciousness of their bond, Kevin moved quickly and married Liz on her birthday in 2014—the date she had jokingly lied about getting married.
"It was such a relief when Liz told me it was just a prank. But I knew this sweet girl could go as I watched," he narrated.
Because the process of getting Liz to the US was lengthy, the smitten man travelled to Kenya six times in their first two years of dating.
He spent 150 days in Kenya with Liz and her two sons, building cherished moments as their love grew.
Their love, a bridge between worlds, culminated in a beautiful family of six, blessed with two additional boys.
"It’s so wonderful to be with the woman God drew me to just at the right time," Kevin said while celebrating their 10th anniversary.
Elsewhere, a Mzungu man who found his perfect match in Kenya pulled off a lovely proposal to the young woman.
A viral video captured the smitten man kneeling with a ring to propose as the lady shyly covered her face using her hands.
The young lady eventually accepted her longtime lover's proposal, after which they warmly embraced each other.
