Lurambi MP Titus Khamala was not spared by the ongoing floods in the country. Khamala's Nairobi home was flooded with water.
The MP was forced to use basins and buckets to sweep the floodwaters outside his compound.
"It's now official that my Nairobi residential home is submerged. The whole compound is flooded. The floods are finally here. Tuko ndani ya maji)" he said.
The video showed Khamala using buckets to clear the compound.

He said he was prepared to tackle the water even as the weatherman warned of more rains in Nairobi and 19 other counties throughout May.
"The place is already flooded, and the rains are expected tonight. We cannot sleep when the situation is like this. One has to be ready for the water, armed with a basin and bucket," he added.
Khamala appreciated his home in Kakamega which is less frequented by floods as the terrain is a bit hilly with stones.
People from Western should be lucky as such situations cannot happen as the places are a bit hilly. We have better places to thank God for," he said.
Following the heavy rains, two children were rescued after a four-storey building collapsed in Kirinyaga county as they were sleeping.
Their mother, who was in another room, succumbed to the incident.
Police officers who arrived at the scene are in search of the building's contractor for an inquiry on its safety.
