The Wanyamas, arguably Kenya's most affluent footballing family, own an imposing village mansion.

How big is the Wanyama family mansion?

Victor Wanyama's brother Thomas 'Heskey' Khumba revealed a sneak peek of the two-storey Mediterranean-style home. A photo by Heskey showcased that the mansion nestled amidst lush greenery.

Its facade boasts expansive glass windows and beautiful arched balconies. The roof is detailed with red clay tiles.

It is, however, not clear who exclusively resides at the mansion.

This is because the family courtesy of the brothers - Victor, MacDonald Mariga, Harry and Heskey - own several homes in the country and abroad.

How many houses does the Wanyama family own?

Wanyama reportedly owns a home in St Cross area, Winchester, southwest of London, and another in the upscale neighbourhood of Kileleshwa, Nairobi.

In 2018, it was widely reported that he was considering buying a holiday home in Zanzibar. It is, however, unclear if Wanyama made the purchase.

Mariga owns a palatial home in Lavington, a lavish multi-million home close to Casuarina in Malindi and a cosy gem in Italy.

On the other hand, Heskey recently revealed that he owns a city home that he purchased for KSh 15 million in 2015.

Speaking to KTN's Naila Kenga on the Art of Living show, Heskey said he bought the five-bedroom penthouse while in Form Four.

Heskey said his elder brother Mariga - a retired defensive midfielder with successful stints in Europe, including a spell with Inter Milan - assisted him with the purchase.

Heskey said he had lived in the house for around seven years, admitting that Mariga played a crucial role in changing the family's fortune. They purchased the home for KSh 14 million but it is currently valued at around KSh 23 million.

The two-storey penthouse was off-plan and is located on the same apartment block as Harry's.
