After days of heavy rains, the Kenya Meteorological Department weather outlook for May 14-20 released on Tuesday, May indicated sunny and dry conditions in several parts of the country.
The forecast will run from Tuesday, May 14 to Monday, May 20.
According to the weatherman, most regions will be sunny with regions like Central Highlands, Western Kenya, and Rift Valley will continue to expect rains, with instances of heavy rainfall.
"Sunny and dry conditions are likely over several parts of the country. However, expect continued rainfall over the Central, Western Kenya, and the Rift Valley with isolated heavy rainfall events," the weatherman stated.

Some of the counties that will continue to receive rains to isoltaed heavy rains include, Nyandarua, Tharaka Nithi, Murang'a, Kericho, Trans Nzoia, Nyeri, Kakamega, and Bungoma.
Kisumu, Nakuru, Migori, Uasin Gishu, Taita Taveta, Kilifi, Lamu, Samburu, West Pokot, and some parts of the Turkana Counties.
However, due to the changes in weather patterns, the temperatures of the day and night will also change.
Most counties in the North-Eastern, the Coast, and North-Western Kenya will experience high temperatures exceeding 30 Degrees Celsius.
"High average daytime maximum temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius will be experienced in most parts of the Coast, North-Eastern and North-Western Kenya," further stated.
The counties include Mombasa, Lamu, Kilifi, Kwale, Turkana, Mandera, Marsabit, Wajir, Garissa and West Pokot.
The rest parts of the country will experience temperatures ranging from 17-25 degrees Celsius, while Central Highlands will experience cold nights with temperatures dropping to below 10 degrees Celsius.
They include Murang'a, Nyeri, Mer, Laikipia, Kiambu, Nyandarua and Kirinyaga.
The new weather forecast comes days after the Department predicted reduced rainfall intensity in some parts of the country.
The condition which elapsed on Monday, May 13 after seven days, recorded low rainfall intensity in major parts of the country.
