"So far, so good. We are out of the newborn stage we are at the toddler stage. Those who know know. It's not easy, but I'm glad we are here and we have grown so much. I am enjoying it, taking it a day at a time. Support, some me time. That is going a long way in me pouring into my children. Support from my husband. Being intentionally there for them."
Ivy noted that having her second baby took her tool in her career, and she respected women who gave birth and went back to work.
"It will never be perfectly balanced. Something has to suffer. Let's say to put it in the backseat not to sacrifice it. They are all important. They make me. As women giving birth is not a small thing, it definitely had to take a backseat. My career had to take a backseat.
My career was not my priority these past three years and I thank my husband because he made a conducive environment for me to be a good and present mum without any worries. He is a good man, father and it is amazing to watch him because he is so gracious."
She admitted that she was not at ease with being a stay-at-home mum at first, but she warmed up to it.
"For a while, I was feeling not so comfortable being a stay-at-home mum, but I realised why am I being ashamed of spending time with my children something that many people don't get to do?"
In other news, fans of Raburu and MC Gogo's Wabebe Experience on TV47 were puzzled after the show failed to air.
The former Citizen TV newscaster posted an update on social media, announcing that the show was on a break.
Many fans said they hoped that the show would return, as it made them look forward to Fridays.
