A tragic accident has left families shattered and communities mourning the loss of loved ones.
Among the victims of this devastating incident was Benard Njunguna, a dedicated husband and father who served as a conductor for Eldoret Express Company.
The accident occurred when an Eldoret Express bus carrying 62 passengers collided with a stalled fuel tanker in the Muguga area of Kikuyu, Kiambu County.

Njunguna, fulfilling his duties as the conductor, was on board when the bus lost control and collided with the stationary truck.
As news of the accident spread, Njunguna's wife, identified as @pretty.paps2, took to social media to share her grief and honour her beloved husband.
Through a poignant video posted on TikTok, she shared moving photos of Njunguna, showcasing his dedication not only to his profession but also to his family.
In the viral video, Njunguna's life unfolded before viewers' eyes, revealing a man who embraced his roles with passion and commitment.
Beyond his responsibilities as a conductor, he embodied the essence of a loving husband and devoted father.

The emotional tribute resonated deeply with audiences, drawing an outpouring of sympathy and support from online communities.
Further speaking to TUKO.co.ke, the woman said that her husband and she were supposed to meet and run some errands together on the day that he died.
"He left when our son was barely three weeks. But I thank God for him because I will always be happy when I see him I will be seeing. I'm just grateful for the precious gift he left me with," she said.

TUKO.co.ke previously reported at least ten others were injured following the early morning accident along the James Gichuru Rironi highway.
In the accident reported at Muguga in Kikuyu, the driver allegedly lost control of the Nairobi-bound bus, hitting the truck from behind.
Confirming the incident, Kikuyu Police Commander Ronald Kirui said the 62-seater bus belonging to Eldoret Express Company rammed into a stationary fuel tanker at around 5.30am.
He urged drivers to exercise caution while using the road, explaining that the visibility was poor and the road was wet due to the heavy rains.
