4 Climbers Found Dead On Mont Blanc After Missing For 3 Days

France - Four mountain climbers, including two Italians and two Koreans, have been found dead near the summit of Mont Blanc.
The climbers died of exhaustion after they went missing over the weekend amid severe weather conditions.
As per Yahoo News Singapore, authorities were notified late on Saturday about three missing climbing parties near the Mont Blanc summit under very poor weather.

The groups had set out without guides, according to the regional administrative authority in charge of coordinating emergency responses and public safety in the area.
Why the climbers couldn't be rescued
Italian mountain rescuers who reached the summit on foot early in the day could not locate the bodies due to deteriorating weather conditions, which hindered rescue efforts from the ground and by helicopter.
However, a helicopter from the PGHM mountain police unit based in Annecy managed to land around 1.30pm and discovered the bodies between 100 and 200 meters from the summit.
The Koreans were found first, with the Italian climbers located nearby.
The Korea Times reported that the Korean climbers were identified as a man in his 50s and a woman in her 40s, according to their embassy.
All the bodies have been recovered, and their families notified.
Fury as Kisii businessman is attacked, killed
In other news, angry Kisii residents blocked the town's main road, disrupting transport and business operations following the murder of businessman Mageri Geoffrey, also known as Jeff.
He was reportedly attacked by unknown assailants on the night of September 9 and died while hospitalised.
Locals expressed frustration with local authorities, citing a surge in murders and robberies in the area.
