British American Tobacco (BAT) Kenya has unveiled its latest internship programme, XCELERATE.

The internship programme is designed to offer young professionals practical experience.

The programme, lasting one year, promises participants exposure to functional projects that will sharpen their business acumen and leadership skills.

Benefits for BAT interns

As part of its commitment to nurturing future leaders, BAT aims to provide interns with a structured development plan.

Each intern will be assigned a dedicated manager who will guide them through the programme and ensure their growth both personally and professionally.

Who can apply for BAT internship?

The programme is open to recent university graduates who have completed a bachelor’s degree within the last year.

"We expect you to have graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University within the last year and a CPA or ACCA finalist," BAT explained.

Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the BAT career portal.

In other news, the Kenyan government, through the ICT Authority, has officially announced the opening of applications for the Presidential Digital Talent Programme (PDTP) Cohort IX.

Applicants should have graduated with First or Upper Second-Class Honors (or the equivalent) from a recognised institution within the last two years (since January 2022).

Interested candidates are required to complete the online application form, ensuring they attach all relevant documents as specified.
