A video doing rounds online shows the moment a motorcycle thief ambushes a cyclist along a Kenyan road.

The man of Asian descent is seen riding his bicycle along a deserted road when a motorcycle pulls up behind him.
The motorcycle rider wore a yellow helmet, blue jacket, and reflector. He was carrying a passenger wearing a cap.

The cyclist was unaware that he was being targeted by the duo.
As the boda boda rider overtook him, the pillion suddenly grabbed the phone from the cyclist's handlebars.
The boda boda rider took the cue and sped off.
The stunned Asian was taken aback as it took him a short while to react and scream out.
However, hopes of catching the daring thieves were dashed as they sped off.
Kenyans called for law enforcement officers to crack down on the vice, as others joked about the situation.
