The parent made her way following the heartbreaking news of the fire outbreak in the educational institution.
Like many, the woman looked restless as she waited for more information about the unfortunate turn of events.
"There is no information that they have given me, and it is so traumatising because you do not know where the child is or the pupil's state. There is no clear information as some reports say the pupils are in the bush, others in hospital, and that is what is traumatising all of us," she heartbreakingly said.
A 72-year-old man also went to the scene where his grandson schools following the terrible news.
John Rukwaro was still processing what had transpired as he expressed his optimism of finding his grandson alive.
"My grandson is in Grade 6, and he is among the pupils who, until now, have not been found. But I am optimistic he will be found because everything is possible," he calmly said.
In another story, Education CS Julius Migos Ogamba cut short his China trip after the tragic fire at the school.
Ogamba attended the 9th FOCAC Summit with President William Ruto but returned to personally oversee the disaster response.
The Ministry of Education confirmed the CS headed back to Kenya to ensure swift action and support for the affected.
Investigations into the cause of the midnight fire were underway as the nation mourned the loss of young lives.
