Faith Kipyegon stormed to victory in the women's 1500m in the Diamond League final in Brussels.
The defending Olympic champion clocked a meeting record of 3:54.75. She had to hold off Diribe Wleteji of Ethio[is who was third.
Kipyegon has now won five 1500m titles in the Diamond League and six in total.
Kipyegon, who went to the final after bagging a historic third gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

She was comfortable throughout the race, but things got interesting in the final lap when Diribe Welteji tried to attack.
However, she kept her cool and stored to victory, cementing her status as arguably Kenya's greatest-ever athlete.
Welteji was second in 3:55.25, while Jessica Hull of Australia was third in 3:56.99.
Kipyegon has now won five 1500m titles in the Diamond League. Her other 1500m Diamond League titles came in 2017, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
"I'm so happy. Winning for the fifth time is not easy, young athletes are coming up so it's really a good motivation," she told CNN Larry Madowo.
"Season has been good. Winning a third gold medal at the Olympics was not easy but I hope to finish my season in Athlos on a high."
TUKO.co.ke has also reported that Kipyegon will compete at the Athlos New York City event on September 26.
The event was initiated by Reddit co-founder and Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, to improve the women's sport. It will be a women-only competition with six track events.

The Kenyan superstar clocked 3:51.29 to break her own record she set in 2021 in Tokyo.
