Another artist has unveiled a new statue for Faith Kipyegon barely a month after funny-looking sculptures were put up in Eldoret town.
The Nakuru-based artiste went viral after photos of his work took social media by storm.
The sculpture was made in honour of Kipyegon, who continues to exact her authority as one of the greatest track stars the world has ever seen.
The statue has Kipyegon holding a Kenyan flag, similar to the pose she strikes almost every time she wins a race. The photo shared by Kenya One Sports also has Kipyegon's name written across her chest

The statue has elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans online.
"At least this one looks more of Faith. Congratulations, craftsman."
"This one is almost getting it."
Kenneth Kiprono said,
"Better than the Eldoret one."
While others were still not that impressed by the latest work.
Newton Shabaya said,
"We support talents, but at times, it's hard to defend Kenyans."
Esther Kageha said,
"Please leave Faith alone if you can't do it properly."
The Nakuru one follows after Eldoret's county government put some statues ahead of its coronation as a city in August. There was a public uproar, forcing the government to bring them down immediately and distance themselves.
"There was a mistake. We were just starting and had no support from the government. The business community came up and said they would surprise us with statues," said Uasin Gishu governor Jonathan Bii.
"It was not our mistake, even God knows. As we waited, two things popped up-their front parts looked like human beings, while their backside resembled satan. We did not know what to do."
TUKO.co.ke had earlier reported that Kipyegon reacted to the Eldoret statues.
The triple Olympic champion was asked to share her thoughts on the sculptures after winning the Rome Diamond League.
Kipyegon led Team Kenya's contingent that was hosted by President William Ruto at the Eldoret State Lodge following their heroics at the Paris Olympics.
