One of the fatalities was 21-year-old Brian Mwangi, who was on his way home from doing a setup in church when he met his death.
Susan Kihara Muratha shared an emotional post on Facebook eulogising the deceased youngster.
"@Carol, sending you love and strength as you navigate this unimaginable loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers," she wrote.
Susan requested Kenyans to continue praying for the family, adding that meetings to plan the burial were ongoing.
Kevin McDaviours
"Pole to the family members and friends. I was at the scene, though on a motorbike."
Hellen Waithera:
"On the dawn of Saturday, I lost my cousin just around the same spot in another accident. Such young souls."
Videos circulating online illustrated the accident's severity, showing the front of the Range Rover completely damaged.
Some parts of the Range Rover were scattered on the road, with smoke rising from the damaged vehicle.
The white stationery truck was not as badly damaged, and some people blamed the lorry driver for failing to indicate that his vehicle was stalled.
It emerged that the other fatality in the crash was a manager with a local bank in Ngong.
