Additionally, customers can whitelist their numbers by dialling *100*100#, which ensures that their phone numbers will only be replaced when they visit a Safaricom shop.

To de-register an unknown number, select ''Report Unknown Number'' and choose the number you want to remove from the list. After confirming your report, Safaricom will receive the alert and delete the line from your Identification Card.

How to check Airtel numbers registered with your ID

If you are an Airtel client, dial *106# to check lines registered with your ID. Once you have dialled, here is how to check your registered phone numbers:

  1. Select Option 3: Numbers registered with my ID.
  2. If you registered using your national ID, select Option 1. Customers can also choose other recognized registration modes, including Alien ID, Passport, Service card, or East African ID.
  3. Enter your ID number (Or the number of the registration selected)
  4. You will receive a text message shortly listing the numbers listed under your national registration.

Customers can visit the nearest Airtel shop to de-register an unknown Airtel line.

How do Telkom clients check numbers registered on their ID?

Telkom clients can also dial the universal code *106# to check the numbers registered under their ID numbers. The code does not require internet connectivity or a mobile application.
