Businessman Khalif Kairo has addressed rumours linking him to Freemasonry after a congratulatory message from a man claiming to be a Freemason grand lord circulated online.
The message followed Kairo’s recent CEO of the Year Under 30 award win, sparking mixed reactions.
"Congratulations, Kairo, on embarking on this exciting Journey towards success. Your ambition, hard work, and determination are truly inspiring. As you take your first steps, remember that every challenge is an opportunity to grow. Stay focused. Keep learning, and never give up. The future holds great things for you," reads the post, which has divided opinions.
In response, Kairo dismissed the claims, attributing them to haters.

He affirmed his faith in God as the source of his success.
"I win an award, thousands of people congratulate me. One Freemason does it. And haters, as usual, will focus on that one person. Anyway, Jesus is Lord, saviour of my life and my blessings come from God. Praise be his name," Kairo tweeted.
Previously, Kairo came out to respond to criticisms after a result slip showing that he failed his aviation test leaked online.
The result slip circulated online, attracting criticism from some netizens.
However, in response to the criticisms, Kairo said he passed the Flitestar Academy test.
He clarified that he attempted the Private Pilot Certificate (PPL) test thrice.
Kairo insisted that he passed and is now duly licensed to fly privately by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA).

The leaked exam result, which purports that Kairo failed, shows that he scored lowly in Aircraft General Knowledge, Flight Performance Planning, Meteorology and Navigation.
However, it is glaringly not signed by his invigilator, Dickens Magak.
