Kilifi - A family in Kilifi county is mourning the demise of their kin, who sadly passed away at night.
Police reportedly attacked Lewis Munga in his house and allegedly beat him to death.
The 20-year-old was reportedly a victim of a police operation at night alongside other young men who sustained injuries.

"He told me police beat him on Thursday night. When they saw him looking helpless, they left him on the floor, carried the others and took them to the cell. Many people were removed from their houses naked," Munga's father, Dickson Omari Mundu, told Citizen TV.
The death of the young man equally devastated his grandfather, who questioned the rumours surrounding Munga's death.
"Even if they say it was robbery, how did he go to rob while he was naked?" he painfully asked.
The family claims the police ambushed the young men and other women and began beating them during their operation.
Efforts to hurriedly take Munga to the hospital did not bear fruit, as the alleged cops severely wounded him.
"He was crying about head pain. He was removing foam from his mouth. He was complaining of the pain in his head," Munga's aunt said.
The news irked several social media users, who flocked to the comment section to share their views.
Samuel Amitai Gift:
"Now, the land dispute is causing the police to kill and injure people? The police love ... and do not ... terrorists and thugs."
Adrian Mutuma:
"So sorry. Let everything be investigated to know the truth."
Ali Beja:
"Police nowadays have turned to be ... of innocent people."
Vincent Okello:
"May God give you strength."
