"Since the condition became worse, we were referred to Russia Hospital on February 28, but were not given the correct diagnosis yet the baby's condition continued to deteriorate. We were later referred to Moi Teaching and Referal Hospital (MTRH), Eldoret, on March 2, where a diagnosis of acute kidney injury was made," she disclosed.

Why does Ladona need the KSh 1.3m transplant?

The worried sister shared that they managed to go for dialysis every Monday and Thursday, but the condition did not improve and warranted dialysis three times a week.

"The condition did not improve with three sessions of dialysis every week as the kidneys were failing. According to the tests and doctors' reports, we were later advised about a kidney transplant, which will cost need KSh 1.3 million. The current bill is KSh 300,000 and now we need KSh 1.6 million," he said.
"Please help me save her life...she is too young to continue going through this. My family and I will really appreciate it," said Viola.
