Kitui - A group of young boys have heroically welcomed a staff member back to school after being away for a while.

The students were over the moon following the good news that their principal was returning to school.

The learners from St. Charles Lwanga Kitui could not hide their overwhelming joy as the principal entered the school compound.

He was in a sleek car, being driven slowly as the elated boy encircled the vehicle.

They danced and chanted the principal's name as they escorted him during the celebratory moment.

A gentleman in a lovely suit and tie walked in front of the Mazda model car, smiling as though directing the driver.

The students came out in great numbers to support their principal, who had been away on sick leave.
