Kisumu: A Maseno University student has hilariously snitched on fellow students who left her alone just a week after joining the campus.

In a video shared by the student on TikTok, the concerned girl explained that only one of the six girls expected to be in the unit was present.

The clip shows neatly spread three double-decker beds, which total six, begging the question of where the room's occupants were.

“Parents are paying fees, and their children are not in the hostels. There is no way out of six; only one student is in the room,” the lady recording the clip is heard saying.

“Parents, you’d better get here in Maseno.”

Barely two weeks after admission, the video has garnered varied reactions from netizens, with some using humour to expound on the seriousness of the issue.

Murang'a university new hostel ban

In related news, TUKO.co.ke reported that male and female students at Murang’a University have been banned from visiting each other in their respective hostels.

To address this issue, the university has said it will build benches where students will be able to fellowship with each other anytime they want to meet.

Initially, the institution allowed students to visit one another in the hostels from 10am to 10pm.
