Fast-rising government critic Morara Kebaso has made an earnest appeal to Kenyans, seeking support to purchase a sound system that will bolster his civic education and good governance campaign.
Kebaso, known for his vocal stance on various national issues, outlined his need for a reliable sound system to reach more people across the country.
Kebaso shared that he has two sound system options: a high-end presidential sound system priced at KSh 1.2 million and a more affordable middle sound system costing KSh 838,200.

So far, he has raised KSh 325,000 through Mpesa contributions and is hopeful that more Kenyans will join in to help him reach his target.
In addition to the sound system, Kebaso mentioned his plan to repair an old Land Rover Defender he owns.
The vehicle, once fitted with the sound system, will be used exclusively for nationwide civic education campaigns.
Kebaso is committed to organising caravans that will travel across the country, aiming to engage citizens in discussions on good governance and civic responsibility.
Kebaso tweeted:
"Dear, my sponsors, the people of Kenya. We can do a presidential Sound at 1.2m or a Middle Sound at KSh 838,200. Kindly review the quoted prices and verify if they are within the market rate. For the sound system, I have already raised KSh 325,000 on MPesa Number 0708985611. I hope more Kenyans of goodwill will continue giving.
"As for the vehicle to be fitted with this sound, I still don’t have one, but I own an old LR Defender somewhere that doesn’t have a gearbox. I can fix that one so we can move forward. These assets will be used only for purposes of civic education and good governance campaigns. I will be organising caravans where you can join me as we make a combined effort to redeem our country."
Previously, Kebaso claimed President William Ruto offered him a job in the Kenya Kwanza government.
The activist claimed he declined the job, saying he was okay with his current occupation.
However, Morara was not specific on the type of job the president offered him.
