Linah Wanjiru Mungai, a 23-year-old Information Technology (IT) student at RTI College in South B, has been reported missing.

Wanjiru was last seen on Wednesday, September 11, when she left the college hostel but never made it to class.

Wanjiru's brother, Kingangi Mungai, told TUKO.co.ke that his sister's silence raised alarm among her friends and family.

According to her peers, Wanjiru left the hostel in the morning but did not attend any of her scheduled classes later that day.

"No one has seen or heard from her since, and her friends have expressed concern as none of them know her current whereabouts," he said.

Efforts to reach her by phone have been unsuccessful, and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance remain unclear.

How was Wanjiru dressed when she disappeared?

Mungai added that the young woman had not been in any confrontation with relatives to warrant a disappearance.

Wanjiru's family is optimistic that she is alive and is appealing to the public for any information that may help locate her.

"She was wearing a blue pair of trousers and a white hoodie on the day she disappeared," Mungai added.

Anyone with details about her whereabouts is urged to contact the nearest police station.

Joy as missing MKU student is found

Elsewhere, Lilian Gati Robi left home on Tuesday, September 10, boarding an Ena Coach bus from her home in Migori to Nairobi.

She was returning to Mount Kenya University (MKU) after the institution's break when she disappeared.

Fresh reports indicate that the third-year nursing student was found alive and admitted to the hospital.

Taita Taveta Sub-county Police Commander John Ndichu revealed that the 20-year-old was taken to the hospital by well-wishers.
