Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Ogamba recalled the man's persistence, which partly made her fall in love with him.

"He would video call me daily, keep me posted on his errands and much more. He was not a man of small talk like what had I eaten, but we would talk about topics and ideas which drew me to him," the Nairobi lady said.

Ogamba says lover disrespected her

The mzungu man flew to Kenya, where they got married, and later, she headed to England to be with her man.

They lived well for the first four months before their relationship started having challenges that affected Ogamba.

"There was no respect for boundaries. He would disrespect me, and there was an element of abuse. He made me feel so unsafe and depressed that I had to take anti-depressant pills and panic attack medicines. He wrecked my mind, and I became unproductive. I could not sleep at night because I did not feel safe.
"His words were so abusive and cut through my heart, distorting my emotions and affecting my mental health. The bubbly and joyful me became timid and scared. It was not what I had in mind," she recalled.

Ogamba left homeless after husband's arrest

Ogamba, a TikToker, said she sought help from the police who arrested her husband, who looked for a place for her to stay.

"I was put in a hotel for two days, which was paid by the police. Then, I started looking for a place to stay. I was homeless after I parted ways with my man," she said.

Ogamba lamented meeting the man, saying he had taken her several steps backwards and destroyed her life in ways she could not explain.

Woman laments meeting dumb suitors

In another story, a woman seeking a genuine relationship aired her frustrations, saying men only wanted to get laid.

The American woman living in Iowa also noted that she kept attracting dumb men and wondered if men were generally slow mentally.

The 57-year-old woman also noted that the men she was getting had conversation skills that matched those of five-year-olds.
