The grim discovery has cast a dark shadow over the once-peaceful neighbourhood, raising urgent questions about the rising insecurity in the area.

"It’s a huge shock for us residents of Molo after the body of a young man we knew was found killed and naked," said Njenga Matendo, a visibly shaken local said.

His words echoed the community's shock and dismay as they struggled to understand the horror meted out to one of them.

Ombweli voiced his concerns about the increasing violence in the area, calling on Nakuru governor Susan Kihika to take action.

"We would like our Molo government, through our Governor Susan Kihika, to hear about this matter because we are very concerned,” Ombweli urged.

Jane Wanjiku, a concerned resident, added her voice to the growing chorus calling for government intervention.

"We request that the government work together with the citizens so they can support each other. Molo is not safe; it is bad; there is crime to the extent that we live in great fear. Even sending a child to the shop causes anxiety,” Wanjiku lamented.
