The viral TikTok grandma who has been sparking concerns among netizens due to her late-night live videos, has disclosed what she earns during those sessions.
The grandmother, popularly known as 'Shosh Wa Thika,' has been captured several times dozing off during her TikTok live videos, which often go as late as 2a.m.
In an interview with DJ Sonnie on YouTube, Shosh Wa Thika said she decided to start going on TikTok live at 2am after having episodes of sleeplessness.
"Sometimes I go to bed, and I am completely sleepless. So I always want to spend that time on TikTok, tap tapping," she said.

The Shosh revealed that her TikTok videos have once earned her KSh 100,000 in a single night.
"There was a time I made KSh 100,000 in one night. I have never made such a huge amount in one night again, but I was so happy since I had not expected it. God has blessed me," she said.
Shosh wa Thika told her fans not to get alarmed when they spot her dozing off on TikTok live. She explained it is a natural reaction as sometimes sleep overpowers her.
"I'm just like anyone. Sometimes, you can wake up from bed thinking you are sleepless, but you wake up to do something, sleep catches up with you.
"I have heard the negative comments when I doze off, but it should not worry one," she said.
Earlier this year, Shosh went viral after engaging with her audience, prompting inquiries about her nocturnal activity.
In the midst of the interaction, the woman affectionately known as "Shosh" by her followers made a noteworthy request: She asked her viewers to send gifts her way.
Netizens were drawn to Shosho's unexpected appearance and her direct appeal for gifts during the late-night TikTok session, and they were generous to her.
