A young girl named Naomi Jepchirchir was spotted at a graduation ceremony at the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton.
Heartwarming photos captured her staring at the newly minted graduates with awe and admiration.
Despite having no relatives among the graduates, the barefooted eight-year-old courageously walked to the front of the square and watched the procession intently.

Her innocent admiration for the smartly dressed graduates did not go unnoticed, as they responded with warm, welcoming smiles.
Naitwa Mwangi, who shared the photos on Facebook, captured the scene. Mwangi noted,
"Oh my heart, how I pray for this girl. She was so happy for the graduates. She clapped for all of them. An example of a pure heart with pure intentions. Clapping for others till your time comes."
Naomi, a Grade Two pupil at Kombe Primary School in Nandi County, lives with her mother, Milkah.
Her story has touched many, leading to an outpouring of support from well-wishers whose passion and love have moved for education.
Hon. Julius Keter, the Majority Chief Whip at the Nandi County Assembly, was among those who expressed a desire to help Naomi.
"This beautiful young girl standing in the middle of graduands exhibited her courage and passionate love for education. May the Lord bless this innocent girl for me. Please, anyone who knows this brave girl kindly link her to me," he urged.
Journalist Lemiso Sato, who also shared her story on social media, confirmed that she had been traced and her school uniform had been sorted.
"We shall update on the way forward, but note that her uniform has been sorted from now going forward," Sato wrote.
