Actress Trisha Khalid has joined Kenyans in mourning Sultana actress Winnie Bwire, alias Dida.

The actress died on Thursday, September 5, while receiving treatment in Turkey. She had a long battle with breast cancer.

In the emotional text, Bwire wrote:

"Hey darling, unfortunately today is not a good day. We're in transit to Turkey, and we'll be arriving around midnight. My first doctor's appointment is tomorrow. Can we please reschedule?"

Captioning the screenshot, Khalid wrote:

"May your beautiful soul rest in peace baby girl."

Her fans took to the comment section to express their condolences.
