In an unexpected turn of events, a woman who was reported missing in March has responded to a missing person alert about herself.

It all began when Emalahleni FM News posted on social media that Vinolia Keabetswe Mphela's whereabouts were unknown.

Mphela, a 25-year-old woman, was reported missing by her family after they had lost contact with her.

The alert stated that she had last been seen in March, that the matter had been reported to the police, and that a missing person’s file had been opened.

The plea for help highlighted that Mphela had left behind three children, and her family was desperate for information that could help locate her.
