Kiambu - Two beautiful sisters are worried that their sickly mother battling depression is yet to return home since leaving them over five months ago.
Mary Wambui Njoroge and her sister Margaret Wanjiru said her mother had travelled to Mombasa to seek work.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Wambui said her mum Rose Njoki Wambui had been through a lot of depression and needed something to do to calm her mind.
"She left home on February this year. She said she was going to look for work because she was depressed sitting at home with the many challenges we were facing. When she left, she did not have a phone so we have never communicated since her departure," the mum of two said.

The 20-year-old added that her greatest fear was whether Njoki was alive, which Wambui reiterated too.
They wished at least to know if she was alive as they said their mum of five also had chest problems.
"She could barely work because of her sickness. Most times she was released off her duties because of her chest problems. We even wonder how she is surviving in Mombasa," Wanjiru stated.
The young ladies living in Kiambaa, Githunguri, Kiambu county with their five children said they would have gone to the police.
They barely struggle to pay rent as they approach their fourth month, having not paid a penny to the landlord who threatened to kick them out.
Wambui can be contacted on 0707 289 466.
Crossing borders, a Tanzanian woman abandoned at age three reunited with her mum after 33 years.
Pendo almost gave up searching for her mother, whom she was told by some of her family members had died, as she told CLOUDSMEDIA.
After over three decades, she reunited with her biological mum sharing a teary mother-daughter moment after seeing each other.
Her Tanzanian mother expressed her brokenness after not seeing her for a long time, adding she had also lost hope.
