Man Confesses To Killing Young Daughter As Revenge After Wife Dumped Him For Another Man

A man has confessed to the police that he killed his young daughter as revenge on his estranged wife, who dumped him and went with another man.

Ibrahim Ssemaganda, who last week surrendered himself to the cops after killing his two-year-old daughter, told the authorities he wanted to inflict his wife the same amount of pain she made him feel after she left him.

Suspect's confession

In a report by The Observer, Ibrahim said his wife decided to leave their matrimonial home after she got fed up with the man's violent tendencies.

"She went with her belongings without giving any convincing reasons. I tried convincing her to return to me, but she refused. She took our daughter to her grandmother, proving that she would not return to me," the suspect said in his statement, as quoted by The Observer.

"I picked our daughter from her grandmother for the sole purpose of killing her so that her mother can also feel the pain I have endured for the last one year," he added.

In other news, police officers in Murang'a county investigated a case where a 28-year-old man allegedly killed his two children in cold blood.

Evans Kang'ethe from Nyoni, in Kiharu, Murang'a, reportedly killed his two children, aged seven and three, with a sharp object for a yet-to-be-known motive.

The suspect fled from his home after the gruesome killings, and police officers have since launched a manhunt for him.

His wife is reported to have fled from the marital home a week ago after an altercation with her alleged killer husband.
